About This Script

Select one or more anchor points on any path and apply rounded corners with a specified radius. Unlike Illustrator's native Live Corners (which only works on rectangles and simple shapes), this script works on any path shape — stars, custom paths, compound paths, and complex geometry. You can set a different radius per selected point or apply uniformly. The rounding is applied as actual Bezier curves (not a live effect), so the result is a clean, editable path. Supports both inner and outer corners. A time-saver for logo design and custom shape creation.

How to Install

Method 1 — Run directly

  1. Download the .jsx file
  2. Open Illustrator
  3. Go to File > Scripts > Other Script...
  4. Select the downloaded .jsx file
  5. The script runs immediately

Method 2 — Install permanently

  1. Copy the .jsx file to the Scripts folder:
  2. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [version]\Presets\en_US\Scripts\
  3. Restart Illustrator
  4. Find the script under File > Scripts > Round Any Corner
